Dr. med. Maciej Malinowski and Jan Bednarsch	Our group members Dr. Maciej Malinowski and Jan Bednarsch received the Laurenzo Capussotti Award for their congress contributions about "Portal vein embolization with plug/coils improves hepatectomy outcome" and "Effects of oxaliplatin‐based chemotherapy on actual liver function capacity", respectively.

GASL 2012 - Poster Prize
Dr. med. Johan Friso Lock	The poster "Valide nicht-invasive Diagnostik einer Leberzirrhose durch Messung der maximalen Funktionskapazität mittels LiMAx-Test" was awarded with the first prize in the category "Transplantation- Liversurgery- Clinical Hepatology" at the 28th anual GASL meeting.
Ismar Boas Prize 2012
Dr. med. Johan Friso Lock	Dr. med. Johan Friso Lock was awarded with the Ismar Boas Prize of the German Society of Gastroenterology (DGVS) for the best clinical dissertation at the annual conference in Leipzig, Germany.
EASL 2010 - Young Investigator Bursary
Dr. med. Antje Schulz	Dr. med. Antje Schulz was awarded with the Young Investigator Bursary of the EASL Congress 2010 for her project: 'Mechanisms of liver regeneration after hepatectomy: a preliminary human study'.
